General Questions

A Urologist is a doctor that specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of problems associated with the male and female urinary tract. Some common conditions include: Prostate issues, kidney stones, blood in the urine, incontinence (both female and male), all manner of urinary tract and bladder infections, Erectile Dysfunction (ED), urinary-related cancers, other kidney issues.
Not always, please call us and we will assist you in scheduling an appointment and answering all question. Some insurance do require authorization from your insurance prior to scheduling an appointment. If this is the case then yes please see your Primary Care Physician to initiate a referral from your insurance company.
Yes. Dr. Libby handle all male and female urological issues and works with children too.
Yes, we take most major health insurance plans. And if you don’t have insurance, we will happily discount our initial services for self-payers.
Yes. Call us at 866-URO-DOCS and we’ll do everything we can to see you today. We try to see UTI and Kidney Stone patients as fast as the same day. If you’re having a medical emergency please call 911.
Did you know you’re not alone? Take a breath and know that ED is far more common than you think. Almost all men over 40 or older will experience it to a degree. Make an appointment we’re here to help you.
Like the guys above, females have their own “most of us will experience this as we age” condition that embarrasses them. In this case, it’s female incontinence. We’re here to help, please make an appointment.
Many times the pain you experience with a kidney stone is severe, but gradually improves over the next day or two. This does not always mean the stone has passed. A stone that does not cause any pain can still lead to permanent kidney damage. Please call our office to make sure the stone has passed and also to learn about how to prevent further stones.
